EasyAssistant, the AI Agent built for Root Cause Analysis, is now available for all EasyRCA customers

Purpose built AI Agent for Root Cause Analysis.

Reliability Center, Inc (RCI) is excited to introduce EasyAssistant: a conversational AI agent trained on 50 years of our own PROACT® RCA methodology, built in EasyRCA and available to all customers today. EasyAssistant sees your full investigation as you build it, so what it suggests, reviews, and answers is grounded in your actual evidence, not a best guess.

Companies are asking what their AI actually delivers. This isn’t AI for AI’s sake — it’s built to move the needle on ROI.

Purpose-built vs. general-purpose

Two agents can run on similar technology and still work very differently.

EasyAssistant

General AI (like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot)

Reads your incident reports, maintenance logs, and equipment photos directly inside the investigation.

Summarizes whatever document you paste in.

Sees your entire RCA — every branch, hypothesis, and task — as it stands today.

Only sees what fits in your prompt.

Checks your work against 50 years of RCA methodology.

Checks your work against its own best guess.

Turns a suggested node, task, or corrective action into one click to add it to your RCA.

Leaves you to copy, reformat, and add it yourself.

Grows with your RCA — when your investigation changes, it knows.

Doesn’t know what changed unless you tell it again.

Built specifically for RCA.

Adapted for RCA.

EasyAssistant doesn’t sit next to your RCA. It’s part of it.

There’s no separate app to open or context to re-explain. Every suggestion, answer, and review draws on the same investigation you’re already building, and it updates as that investigation grows.

Here’s what’s new

Your evidence, understood. Feed EasyAssistant incident reports, maintenance logs, spreadsheets, and equipment photos. It reads them in place and uses them to suggest nodes and answer questions grounded in what actually happened.

EasyAssistant reading an attached report and suggesting a node

Suggestions built on your investigation, not a prompt. Because it can see your full RCA, its suggested tasks, branches, and corrective actions reflect your actual analysis. Your team still approves everything — one click adds it.

EasyAssistant suggesting verification tasks for a hypothesis

A full review, not a spot check. EasyAssistant can evaluate your entire investigation against 50 years of RCA best practices and hand back specific feedback: what’s solid, what’s thin, and what to shore up before you close it out.

EasyAssistant reviewing a full RCA investigation

An RCA expert on call. Ask it anything — a methodology question, a definition, whether a hypothesis actually holds up — and get an answer grounded in RCA practice, not a guess. It levels up novices and gives experts a faster sanity check.

Asking EasyAssistant a methodology question

The reasoning behind it

01

Purpose-built, not repurposed.

A model trained on RCA methodology behaves differently than a general model given an RCA prompt.

02

Context beats prompting.

Full visibility into your investigation produces sharper suggestions than any single prompt could.

03

From suggestion to action in one click.

A good idea that stays in a chat window doesn’t move your RCA forward. This one lands directly in it.

04

Better investigations, measurable return.

Stronger RCAs mean fewer repeat failures and faster investigations — the return shows up in both.

FAQ

Is this a separate product from EasyRCA?

No. EasyAssistant ships inside EasyRCA. There’s nothing new to install or log into — it’s part of the investigation you’re already working in.

What can I hand it as evidence?

PDFs, Word docs, spreadsheets, CSVs, and photos. It reads each one in context, so incident reports, maintenance logs, and equipment photos all shape its suggestions and answers.

Can it edit my RCA without me?

No. It proposes nodes, tasks, branches, and corrective actions; your team decides what goes in. Accepting a suggestion takes one click.

What standard is its review measured against?

Fifty years of RCA best practice and methodology, not a generic model’s best guess. It returns specific feedback on what’s strong, what’s weak, and what to strengthen.

Why not just use Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for this?

Those tools are only as good as the prompt you give them and have no visibility into your investigation. EasyAssistant sees your full RCA, reads your attached evidence directly, and is trained on our own RCA methodology — so its answers are specific to your case, not a generic best guess.
